IDEAS SERIES PARTNERSHIP

THE PURPOSE To support a more inclusive, informed, and resilient workforce by providing accessible education and resources that help employers build stronger, more supportive workplace environments. OUR STRATEGY Visit Portland collaborates with regional partners to deliver a series of timely, topic driven webinars that address key workforce challenges and opportunities. By focusing on practical, actionable content and broad participation, the program helps employers strengthen workplace culture, improve retention, and support a more inclusive and sustainable workforce across Greater Portland.

OVERVIEW Visit Portland partners with the Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce on the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Advancement Series (IDEAS). Through a series of educational webinars, the program provides hospitality and business leaders with practical tools and insights on topics ranging from inclusive workplace culture and neurodiversity to workforce retention, wellness, and supporting underrepresented populations. Each year, the series evolves to address current workforce challenges and opportunities, ensuring relevance for employers across the region.
