VISITOR INFORMATION CENTERS

For many visitors, their Portland experience begins with a conversation. At Visit Portland’s Visitor Information Centers, our staff and volunteers provide more than directions. They offer insight, inspiration, and a genuine connection to the community. Through their knowledge, hospitality, and personal recommendations, they help shape meaningful visitor experiences and ensure every guest feels welcomed, informed, and connected to Greater Portland. CALENDAR YEAR: 2025 VISITATION #’S OCEAN GATEWAY • Visitation intercepts 235,114 (Includes Motorcoach & Cruise Passengers) MOTORCOACH PASSENGERS • Passengers entering Ocean Gateway Visitor Center 7,787 • Buses at Ocean Gateway Visitor Center 187 CRUISE SHIPS • Passengers through Ocean Gateway Visitor Center 197,485 • Ships at Port 105 TOMMY’S PARK KIOSK • Visitors to the kiosk 1,510 • Days open 37 (average 40 visitors per day) JETPORT • Tourism questions 11,813 • Jetport issues 23,226 TOTAL EXPOSURE: 299,263
