THE PURPOSE Build a strong and connected tourism community by supporting the businesses and organizations that create exceptional visitor experiences. Through partnership, Visit Portland strengthens the region’s tourism economy, increases destination visibility, and provides opportunities for local organizations to grow and succeed. OUR STRATEGY Foster meaningful, long-term relationships by connecting partners to marketing opportunities, visitor engagement initiatives, industry resources, and destination-wide collaborations. By creating opportunities for businesses and organizations to work together, we strengthen the overall visitor experience, increase partner value, and amplify Greater Portland’s presence in the marketplace.
OVERVIEW Visit Portland’s nearly 400 partners are the foundation of our organization and the visitor experiences we promote every day. From hotels, restaurants, and attractions to retailers, transportation providers, and cultural institutions, our partners help shape Greater Portland’s identity and contribute to its success as a destination. Their continued investment reflects the value of collaboration, with 43% of partners maintaining their relationship with Visit Portland for more than a decade.
