DRONE VIDEO / HOTEL PROXIMITY MAPS

THE PURPOSE Showcase the unique advantages of hosting meetings in Greater Portland by clearly communicating the destination’s walkability, accessibility, and concentration of key meeting assets. OUR STRATEGY Equip planners with engaging visual tools that bring the destination to life and simplify the site-selection process. By highlighting the close connections between hotels, venues, restaurants, and attractions, we reinforce Greater Portland’s position as a convenient, efficient, and highly experiential destination for meetings and events.

OVERVIEW To better support group sales efforts, new drone footage and a proximity map were developed to visually demonstrate Portland’s compact, walkable layout and the close proximity of key meeting assets. Together, these tools clearly illustrate how hotels, venues, the waterfront, and cultural attractions are seamlessly connected. The drone footage provides an immersive, aerial perspective that brings the destination to life, while the proximity map reinforces ease of navigation and overall accessibility. Both assets are actively used across tradeshow reels and group sales materials to help meeting planners quickly understand the scope, efficiency, and experience of hosting events in Greater Portland— strengthening its positioning as a convenient and highly experiential meetings destination.
