NO. YARMOUTH A beautiful rural town with spacious open lands and historical character, distinguished by its Christmas tree farms, orchards, green- houses, and organic farms. Alpacas, sheep, cows, and horses all call North Yarmouth farms home, and residents say life travels at an enjoyably slow pace here. Summertime concerts on the Village Green and Fun Day each fall bring townsfolk together.

Freeport with its many attractions is the small rural town of Pownal, whose town center, Mallett Hall, is listed on the National Historic Register. Pownal is home to glacier sculpted BradburyMountain State Park where families, horseback riders, mountain bikers, snowmobilers, and snowshoers enjoy exploring trails, taking in the vista from the summit, or picnicking under lush foliage.
