DESTINATION SUMMIT WHAT DID THE EVENT ENTAIL? The Visit Portland Destination Summit is an annual gathering for local tourism and hospitality professionals, partners, community stakeholders, city officials, and residents. Held on April 30 at USM’s Hannaford Hall, this year’s event brought together over 250 industry attendees. The summit featured sessions led by marketing partner Madden Media and strategic planning partner Coraggio Group. Attendees had the opportunity to network, learn about Visit Portland’s latest initiatives, and gain actionable strategies to enhance their impact within the region. HOW DID IT MAKE AN IMPACT? The event strengthened connections across the industry, equipping attendees with tools and insights to better promote Greater Portland as a travel destination. By highlighting strategic efforts and offering collaborative opportunities, the summit helped unify and empower the local tourism community, driving collective growth and long-term success.
