FUTURE VISION + KEY INITIATIVES Visit Portland’s FY26 strategy aims to strengthen our destination and ensure sustainable growth. Key initiatives include a brand audit and refresh to modernize our identity and messaging, reflecting Portland’s evolving character. We’re focused on supporting our local hospitality workforce, with plans for a new community website featuring education and training resources. A strong marketing push will promote Greater Portland as a vibrant year-round destination, diversifying visitors and supporting consistent employment for hospitality professionals. We are highlighting Portland as an authentically inclusive destination, welcoming all backgrounds and abilities. Increased PR efforts will amplify these messages, positioning Portland as the compelling, welcoming, dynamic place it is – the Maine people expect, and so much more.
