DIGITAL ADS INSIGHTS We teamed up with Digital Edge, a meetings-specific marketing agency, on a LinkedIn ad campaign urging locals to boost the economy by bringing meetings and events to Portland. It targeted conference-goers, encouraging them to alert Visit Portland about opportunities to host events locally. LINKEDIN CAMPAIGN RESULTS Impressions Clicks CTR Industry CTR 264,853 2,267 0.86% 0.39% LANDING PAGE ANALYTICS Total Users New Users Sessions 2,944 2,900 3,587 WHAT DOES THIS TELLS US? • The Local campaign targeted the Greater Portland area, garnered 265k impressions, and averaged a 0.86% CTR from September to November. • The top traffic source to the landing page was from LinkedIn banners and the top geographic location of landing page visitors came from Maine, indicating the Local campaign is reaching its audience. • Reached top company industries in Transportation Equipment Manufacturing, Technology and Information, and Business Services. • Top job titles included meeting planners, managers, and executives.
