LOCAL COLLABORATIONS + VOLUNTEER INITIATIVES

NATIONAL TOURISM WEEK Visit Portland actively participated in The Great Portland Pick Up, a citywide community clean-up event that marked the kickoff of National Tourism Week. This initiative aimed not only to beautify our neighborhoods and present the area as a welcoming destination, but also to foster community pride. Our dedicated staff joined the effort, working alongside residents, and we made a concerted push to encourage more volunteers from our local hospitality community to participate. This collective effort highlighted our industry’s commitment to maintaining Portland’s appeal and reinforced our shared responsibility in presenting a clean environment for residents and visitors alike.
